Dum Dee Dum... I am not a super hero neither am i spiderman. I am going to save the world... like as if you would believe. I am a maniac. I came from an outer space which is filled with water. I learn swimming at the age of zero.I wail like a cry baby. I crawl like spiderman, i fly like superman, i drive like batman. I live in wonderland. Rugrats is my friend, so is peter pan.
"Finally!I had longed to attend this NE Show for years!"I shouted soon as i woke up in the saturday morning on &th July,"I hope to get the red-coloured Funpack!"
It was almost 10 a.m., so i ran quicky to the toilet and brushed my teeth.I told myself that it would be a fun day!I gobbled down my breakfast and ran to my study room to take a small bag out of the cupboard.I ended up grabbing all the bags out!
Finally,I picked one small bag.It was small and light,and it was just what I heeded.As minutes went by,it was already 12.30 p.m..The whole Primary 5 students had to meet at school at exactly 1.30p.m.
"Opps!I'm late!"I shouted anxiously.
As hungy as an elephant , I gobbled my lunch and got ready to go to school.I met lots of classmates and friends.Minute by minute,my classmates arrived in school and settled down.
"Today..We are going to celebrate our country's birthday!But,this is not a real one,only a rehearsal!Well,let's treat it like a new one,can we?"A teacher had used a mircophone and asked during the briefing.
"YES!"All of us answered loudly.
"Do you know why are we involved in the show?"The teacher asked again.
"No!" We replied.
"We are involved because the government requires all the P5s attend the rehearsal to tell them how important to be... ..."The teacher replied.
Well,the conversation went on and on...
Finally, the teacher-in-charge called our class to get ready to receive the Funpack.We ran down all the way to the collection point for the Funpack.
"WHAT?I have gotten a blue-coloured Funpack."I was so down because my wish had not come true!
"Erm... Can i exchange my orange bag with ur bag?The whole bag?"Jia Yi asked me.
I replied ,"Ok...Sure..."
We exchange our bags ,and I went to sit with Clara.She had also gotten an orange bag,"same" as me!I had actually wanted to exchange the same coloured strip with another of the same colour.
As we waited for all the classes to assemble at the foyer,we opened our funpack to see what was inside.There were lots of things in it.For example,Starclapper,an electric fan with words on the blades,some crackers and drinks.
Soon,the buses arrived and all of us boarded the bus.Clara and myself sat in the 2nd row on the bus specially reserved for our class.We chatted and play games.We also played the games in our handphone(It was equipped with a camera,but only for that day!So that we could take photos of the performance and fireworks!)
About 15 minutes later , we reached Marina Bay!We saw the floating stage,esplanade and many more...Then , we entered the entrance and settled down on the floating stage.I could not wait for the performances to start.
At about 4.30P.M,the show finally started.We enjoyed the show very much.The segments They were Fire,Earth,Sky,Seaand People.I enjoyed the segment 'Fire' the most because IT HAS GOT FIREWORKS! We took down videos,picture of the fireworks.It lasted about 5 to 10 minutes.We ate dinner at 7.30 p.m.!We ate fish filet,nugget and alot more.It was tasteless!
Finally, the show ended.This was the part i hated the most!Then, we waited for the bus to come and we boarded it again and we went straight back to school...
I will never ever forget this!It was the nicest and wonderful day i have ever had in my life...
